We learned how to arrange a gorgeous bouquet, enjoyed a delicious lunch & bubbly bar and I got to know soo many wonderful women! PLUS! That “post-back on set” glow! I’ll be guest starri That “post-back on set” glow! I’ll be guest starring TONIGHT, April 1st, on Chicago Med at 8:00 pm🙏🏽! For those that know how the industry has been these last few years, getting back on set is like medicine for the soul. I got to work with the incredibly kind @deathspa again (you rock Allen!). My character, Sage Ellison, was so special to play opposite the very generous @oliverplatt 😊. And I had the pleasure to be directed by @cherienowlan ❤️. Thank you so much Cherie!! Waaaaay back in January… (chronic late poster here Waaaaay back in January… (chronic late poster here 🙋🏾‍♀️)…I went to a beautiful, ladies retreat in San Diego. And man oh man did it fill my soul. I’ve stayed close to many of the women there, despite living so far away from each other. As an adult, it’s awkward making new friends. But thank God I committed to just being awkward with a bunch of strangers. Community is so important and I love these ladies so much ❤️. Thank you @torihopepetersen and @tonijcollier for organizing such a wonderful, healing and Jesus filled retreat. The Holy Spirt was really moving and I’m so looking forward to how God will use our new friendships!

But….The day has arrived!! Today, October 8, is #latinaequalpay Day. So grateful to @latinasactingup for hosting a powerful Equal Pay Day Brunch with @mujerxsrising and @lclaa. Together, we honored 10 years of Latina Equal Pay Day and we continue to demand action. Latinas are paid just 54 cents, on average, for every $1 non-Hispanic, white men are paid, resulting in lost pay amounting to over 1 million dollars over the course of a 40-year career. We can’t wait to be paid equally, and we shouldn’t have to wait. Let’s join @mujerxsrising @equalpay2dayorg @lclaa to demand that Latinas be paid fully and fairly now!
